Benchwarmers Pub - CLOSED

103 W Locust St, Fairbury, IL 61739, Phone number (815) 692-2741

Are you looking for a simple and understated sports bar and dive bar where you can get your most pressing needs met... namely, quench your beer cravings, fill up and great bar food, and watch the game with all your Chicago Party Buses buddies? They're open sufficiently late here too, until 1:00 AM Tuesday thru Sunday, and closed on Mondays. The prices are very affordable and it's so casual and cool here. The hamburgers are really delicious and we especially love the onion rings here. Benchwarmers is also known for their great BBQ, and you can get a full rack of ribs with some of the best BBQ sauce in the region! Pair any of their great BBQ dishes with baked potatoes and cooked veggies! Beyond the barbeque, they also have some pretty great seafood options. The beer selection is larger than you'd think, with craft beers, and games to win free beer! Nice! The service is also very friendly, so you're sure to have a great time here all around.

Pub 13

520 W Howard St, Pontiac, IL 61764, Phone number (815) 842-0360

Pub 13 is a fun little sports bar with a comfortable atmosphere and a friendly vibe. They're open until 1:00 AM nightly, so it's a great spot to unwind any day of the week, whether you're leaving behind a stressful workday or getting the weekend started on a Friday night! There's arcade games, a full bar, and pool. There are some pretty enormous TVs here, and even a large fountain! It's not your average sports bar, that's for sure! When we say a full bar, we don't just mean a simple selection of beer, wine, and liquor - we mean a huge selection of each! The service at Pub 13 is friendly and welcoming, and you're going to feel like you're among friends, even if you're visiting the area for the first time! If you need a spot for game day, or just to shoot some pool and catch up with your friends, you can't do better in Pontiac than Pub 13!

Bob & Ringo's

221 W Madison St, Pontiac, IL 61764, Phone number (815) 844-6500

Can't leave out another bar in the Fairbury area that Chicago Party Buses would classify as simple and understated. We appreciate the places that focus on quality and stick to what they're good at! This is truly a spot with a lot of local color and you might even consider it to be a little eccentric, and maybe even a little bizarre with the amount of trophy animals. It's definitely the type of spot where the local regulars hang out on a daily basis, so you're probably going to run into an interesting crowd of people during your visit. As colorful as you might think this place is, it's also based in simplicity; this one is the type that focuses on great drinks and doesn't offer food at all, though you can bring in food from down the street and they've got the menus right there for you. They've got shuffleboard for you to play with your friends and that's always fun! Great ambiance and a really memorable spot to chill with your friends. .

Old Log Cabin Inn

18700 Old Route 66, Pontiac, IL 61764, Phone number (815) 842-2908

Found on historic Route 66, the Old Log Cabin Inn is really like a trip down memory lane, back to a simpler time; the good old days. It feels much more like an old house than a bar or restaurant, by which we mean it has a very comfortable and familiar sort of feel to it, and you'll really enjoy hanging out with your friends here! You'll get the feeling you're just visiting some distant family members or old friends while on vacation rather than stopping into a bar for some drinks. The furniture is all unmatched and random and everything just feels haphazard and spontaneously placed, but in a good way! The food is great here, including breakfast, and the portions are really enormous and at very low prices too! All of the food is comforting and delicious! The apple pie, the milkshakes, and the rhubarb pie are all worth the visit alone, but if you're stopping in for a full meal make sure you save room for dessert! From breakfast all the way through dinner, you can't beat the food served up at Old Log Cabin Inn! A Chicago Party Buses favorite destination in Pontiac!

DeLong's Casual Dining & Spirits

201 N Mill St, Pontiac, IL 61764, Phone number (815) 844-1983

In the mood for a great old fashioned steakhouse that is a genuine piece of the past, well kept and brought forward into today. They've got some of the best service in town, really friendly and smart, and the variety of what they offer here is quite impressive. We're big fans of the butter and garlic rib eye steak, not to mention the hamburgers, the hearty chicken pot pie which is really more of a thick and delicious stew, and even great Buffalo chicken sandwiches. They also offer taco salad, quesadillas, steaks, and house made soups with delicious bread bowls! We also love the fries and biscuits - as you can tell, we're really fans of everything on the menu! If you have a sweet tooth, you'll love the dessert options at DeLong's from the cheesecakes to the milkshakes! Don't expect to be in and out quickly here, but you will enjoy every minute of your dining experience! If you're in a hurry, or if you're not in the mood to dine out, DeLong's offers both takeout and delivery services!

Baby Bull's Family Restaurant

1025 W Reynolds St, Pontiac, IL 61764, Phone number (815) 844-5757

For a restaurant so casual and friendly, Baby Bull's is really a special place, and it's conveniently located right on West Reynolds Street, so it is perfect for your Chicago Party Buses trips in the Fairbury and Pontiac areas. They're open reasonably late too, until 10:00 PM all week long, and they open at 5:30 AM every day for breakfast too! Drop in for any meal of the day, or for drinks after work! Baby Bull's is affordable as well, with super low prices, fantastic ambiance, and even a full bar make this one really memorable and special. They have a variety of food here, from their gyro platter to their insanely good burger, and meatballs. For breakfast, you can bet that this is a place that does it right! The biscuits and gravy, for one, are sensational! They're known for their fried mush, which is an old fashioned favorite that is really hard to find elsewhere nowadays. For dessert, their lemon meringue pie is top notch. This is home cooking with family friendly service! The service is superb and everything is just so great! Love it!
